The fixed network
In this domain the priority goal is the democratization of the telephone, its financial accessibility and the quality of services.
The global goal is essentially based on:
The modernization and the strengthening of the infrastructures of telecommunication
The strengthening of the reassurance of networks and installations,
The improvement of the access of our fellow countrymen to the services(departments) of telecommunication and the NTIC
The mobile network
the goal for Sotelma here is to unify and to protect its market share.
A goal which is in phase to be reached because of the realization of extensions.
These works of extension have allowed an increase of the technical capacity of the network, the supply of a better quality, as well as the availability of numerous services.
Realizations:
- Supply, installation and putting into service of equipment for the connectivity,
- Installation and the putting into service of equipment of transmission to strengthen the existing network, and/or construction of connections for the sideboard of new localities,
- Supply and installation of a dish forms of intelligent network "IN",
Within the framework of this phase of extension, numerous sites (BTS) were installed in Bamako and in provinces.
The same phase has allowed the densification and extension of the network in covered localities.
